Aquascutum Scarf. In 1851, the year of the Great Exhibition at Hyde Park, at 46-48 Regent Street John Emary opened a gentlemen's tailors shop. He is granted the Patent for shower proofing wool fabric - Aquascutum is founded. The name comes from the Latin words for water and shield. The Aquascutum Accessories Collection includes Aquascutum Socks, Baseball Caps, Wool Hats and the Aquascutum Scarf.
