Hackett Jacket. Jeremy Hackett and Ashley Lloyd-Jennings met in the Portobello Road, combing the market for good second-hand clothes. From this auspicious meeting a business developed that is still thriving more than twenty-two years after the opening of the first Hackett shop in the New Kings Road in 1983. Hackett today is the home of Essential British Kit. We pride ourselves on having our own point of view on menswear, based on authentic British style, but with our own distinctive take to keep things fresh. The aim of Hackett is to enable our customers to be dressed and accessorised appropriately for any occasion as well as to suit their own personal style. Our experience is available, if customers need any help in pulling together their Essential British Kit. At Hackett, we are always insistent on producing the highest quality clothing and accessories and after twenty two years of trading, many of our original products are still going strong.
