Schott Clothes. The Schott brothers opened their first factory making hardwearing and comfortable work clothes in New York in 1913. They were an instant success. In 1928 Irving Schott creates the first zip up leather motorcycle jacket; it is named after his favourite brand of cigar: Perfecto. The Perfecto style became a legend with Marlon Brando in ‘The Wild Ones’ and James Dean in ‘Rebel without a Cause’. In the 1970’s Schott’s introduced the Flight Jacket based on their wartime production, this goose down filled jacket is ideal for cold winters. Schott celebrated their 90th birthday in 2003 and are still going strong.
